History

Our Eskişehir School of Health began offering undergraduate education with the Nursing Department in the 1997-1998 academic year. Subsequently, the Midwifery Department started admitting students in the 2000-2001 academic year, and the Health Management Department followed in the 2008-2009 academic year. In 2014, the Audiology, Nutrition and Dietetics, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, and Child Development Departments were established. In 2020, the Perfusion Department was added to these departments.

Our Eskişehir School of Health was transformed into the Faculty of Health Sciences by the Council of Ministers' decision dated August 20, 2015, and published in the Official Gazette on August 27, 2015 (decision number 80052). After completing the necessary preparations for the faculty, we started accepting new students from the 2016-2017 academic year onwards.

Currently, our faculty admits undergraduate students to the Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Management Departments. However, we are not yet able to admit undergraduate students to the other departments as the necessary infrastructure and teaching staff requirements have not been fully met.

Our founding purpose is to contribute to the provision of high-quality health services at both national and international levels and to improve public health by training competent and qualified health professionals using contemporary approaches and methods based on science and technology. In line with the vision of Eskişehir Osmangazi University, our faculty aims to become "a respected faculty that transforms knowledge into value, leads society, and is recognized and preferred on both national and international scales."
