The European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) will take place from 21–29 November 2026, under the theme “Resources Are Not Unlimited!” and the slogan “Question Your Choices, Protect Our Resources!”

The campaign aims to raise awareness about waste prevention, the reuse of products and materials, and recycling. This year, it focuses on sustainable resource management within the framework of the 10R Paradigm, one of the fundamental approaches to the circular economy.

Universities, public institutions, non-governmental organizations, student communities, and individuals can participate in the campaign by organizing activities that promote waste reduction, reuse, and sustainable consumption.

In Türkiye, campaign applications will be accepted under the coordination of the Marmara Municipalities Union (MMU) between 15 September and 15 November 2026. For detailed information on application requirements, Turkish-language guidance, and registration procedures, please visit the link below.
